Great news.....I got my GPS in the mail yesterday, and it seems to be working!!! I haven't used it in the Sprinter yet, but it is working in my Subaru. I got a: :"Magellan Maestro 4210 4.3-Inch Wide screen Portable GPS Navigator". I bought it on line from Amazon and paid less than $200., so it is not top of the line. I think that it will be a help.
Nine more days until I leave & I am pretty excited. Today I had lunch with a friend who used to live in the Seattle area. He gave me pointers on the great "must sees" of the Pacific Northwest. What I learned today is that I need to find a dog kennel on Bainbridge Island and on in Victoria, so I can wander about and see the sights.
It seems like the more I plan the more I still have to do!!!. I take Gracey and Red Fred into the vets early July 19th for a check-up and to get their health certificates that I will need getting them into and out of Canada. The Sprinter will have her oil changed and a good looking over this week-end.........and on and on.

I wouldn't trust that GPS too much - you DO know that GPS means "Glenn Points South" don't you? Whichever direction I am facing is south, by definition.
Thank-you for the warning, Glenn. I will take maps and a compas, too.
Hey Ann! You will evolve into a mechanic before 6 weeks is up! A new kind of metamorphisis, not too buggy. I love Montana, hope you have time to wallow in the beauty. The sky is larger than life. Hi to Red Fred and Gracie. Work is work, but adventure is being vicariously enjoyed. Thanks for blogging.
