What a fun drive we had today. There a lots of small native towns that we drove thru after we left the campground at Kitwanga, BC. I had two bald eagles fly over our Sprinter as we drove out of the camp ground & decided they must be good luck (I did not run out of gas at all today!)
We stopped at Old Hazelton and saw Kispiox Village Totem Poles. Then we stopped down the road at Moricetown and watched native men catch huge salmon with dipnets. They stood on rocks above a water fall & just put their nets in a pulled them out with fish. I have some pictures, but when I tried to attach them, I lost this whole blog entry, so I'll try when I post this. Smithers is a cute little town of 5,414 active looking people. After buying gas there I went in search of the Post Office. Their down town was very perky looking and full of shoppers. Then Houston, BC has a population of 3,577 and advertised OWEN HAT ROCK CLIMBING....I didn't stop, so I can't tell you what that is.....
The camp ground tonight is very crowded. Prince George is a city of 80,000 people!!! Kitwanga has about 250...I love the variety. We'll head down toward the City of Victoria tomorrow. See Ya!

How do you like traveling with Red Fred and Gracie? Would you do it again? They look to be enjoying themselves, as it sounds like you are, too.
Any inklings about the meanings of this trip??? (Don't need to share, just wondering).
Hi Vicki,
Yes, I would bring Red Fred and Gracey again. It's kinda of a mixed bag, but it's more good than difficult.
Meaning??? I feel as if I have been wandering in the wilderness. What has bubbled up is that I can only be responsible for myself. I get to choose how I want my life to go. And I choose Joy.
Hooray for you!!! May your cup runneth over and your tank always be full!
