It was overcast when we left our rest area at 7am. It rained and was foggy and made the traveling slow. The terrain looked to me like moose should appear at any moment, or bear or ????? I saw a black (dark grey) fox, then a red fox, then 3 black bears, looked to me like a small 100 lb mama, and 2 younguns maybe 50 lbs each. Then another black bear, which looked bigger, but when I got to him, he was waking into the tall grass. No pictures of any of them, but I have them in my dead, if you would like descriptions.
By the time I was close to the RV Park, I was running out of gas. Fortunately I had a 5 gallon can full of gas, which I used until I got to a neighbor community to fill up. Red Fred, Gracey and I have an entire half of the Cassier RV Park in Kitwanga to our selves, and it is not raining tonight. I did laundry, took a shower and I called my Mom to let her know that I was not lost in the wilds of Alaska. Tomorrow I will look for an internet connection to post these.
